Neointegrity is a movement dedicated to renewing and evoking the passion of self-fulfillment within every possible media of art.
We see no reason to limit our impetuses and are offering them a venue for regenerative exchange.

respects the transience of right to space within our nation founded on manifest destiny - on a day that has been acculturated as a celebration of independence within the entrapment of infra/super-structures. Our event is art as an environmental moment seeking to surpass the current limitations of market driven purpose and divisions of art forms that neglect the collectively variable underlying energies of manifested creation.

We do what helps us survive our synthesis of perceptions and understandings of living with ourselves, society and the physical universe. Our responses grow inside voids that we can’t explain- but that fill getting through days with eyes, ears, bodies, and personal languages of being. Uncontainable. Manifested in time, space, and a collective vision. We are Neointegrity. We do what we have to do. |

"Neointegrity" has web-expanded over years to involve many young artists that have graduated from NYU and SVA. The specific word is a reference to the teachings of Keith Mayerson. The founding/debut show was at American Fine Arts on May 12, 2002, "NeoIntegrity: this is your dinner". Several shows have followed with changing names, annually and bi-annually.
While some shows are still referred to as "Neointegrity", I personally believe that the outlook of purpose implied by this jargon has evolved to extend far beyond itself. I also believe that Prof. Mayerson created the term in a keen awareness of what needs to happen in the contemporary art spirit, and that he had tuned into the contemporary collective unconscious that is making new art under many labels and is offered great critical dialogue within his theories on art making.
