the calendar/log for 2004 physically exists as a folding cardboard volume with ‘concentric coda’ (as opposed to rows of blocks) corresponding month pages that have since been collaboratively filled in with daily thoughts.

I created a digital collage for each month with a phrase integrated :

in June...I anticipate the impossible

July...there are just too many things I love, the images flood, sound overtake, perpetual.....point being

it will all be gone soon, August...the sweat the storms and all

September...we're all insane, but are you witty?

October...wealth, honor, power, glory, for after death everything ends

November...laughs at mortals' perception of time

December...human toil...une saison en enfer
