Mission
NLSFN is a non-authoritative, performative/particpatory/interactive interdisciplinary learning environment for art experiments. Our accelerating information-centric culture of despair is skidding into a necessary shift in ideas. It is the responsibility of teachers and artists to create culture by paying attention to human existence (personal and universal) within the dynamics of ever-intensifying excessive knowledge and the complex closed-systemization at hand.
The lab school exists to foster creative growth and enable a vibrant flow of creative energy. The project is but a node in the larger evolution of conscious awareness [and detachment] to gather non-linear thinkers interested in dialoguing on contemporary cataclysmic culture and action toward catlyzing global mind shift/transformation.
Spreading as telematic crysallization, everyone is to benefit and grow intellectually/spritually in creative participation.
Noetic Lab school for the Noosphere jumps into metaphysical inguiries via conduit thinking models that oscillate from self-awareness, to self-lessness. While tumultuous as a yet "anomalous" intensity/suffering/drive in the experience of life, those creative minds that are waking up to the insane horror/wonder of what might actually be going on in world politics, quantum physics, repeating archetypal precession of the equinoxes mythologies (2012 transformation). What is real?
NLSFN students have a keen ability to link and understand disparate ideas and layered concepts, intuitively able to metaphorically visualize and create art via layered thinking. But then what is it also to unravel thinking? Our brains are evolved over millions of years. we are historically indebted to a thought reliant mode of individuated functioning. It is all suffering, but it can be no longer a trap of one's own suffing. The patterns are observable. The route is expressible via projects that induce alienation in informatic street time arg participation/ contibution. super-position.
Lab school studio process includes paying attention to the patterns of nature and self-nature while inducing social conversations about meanings and implications in projects that students come upon by pursuing self-guided idea/material webs. We will chase what we find indefinably perplexing. I feel urgency in this work, as our reality needs increasing numbers of deeply creative thinkers to be nurtured in waking up to life-fueling art purpose.
By engaging in the study of inter-relationships as an extra thought dimension for examining dualisms, the discourse is simultaneously micro and macrocosmic, modernist and post-modernist-- also beyond both.
NLSFN encourages an involvement in the world in a way that one has no other choice. Such true passion does exist; I live for it. We live for it. I can only hope to participate and contribute.
